What We Do

You have just signed with the Yacht Record team and have gained a new team member that will enable you to securely manage the risk associated with the large amount of proprietary information generated by your yacht. We are a fully staffed shore based company that provides a broad and deep array of information services delivered via a secure land based information center to the yachts onboard computer system thru a secure world-wide internet connection.

Initial Set-up:

Yacht Record will meet your yacht and undertake the process of digitizing, organizing, and indexing all documents and images. That includes, but not limited to, manuals, logs, inventory, photos, drawings, schematics, regulations, company policies, yacht procedures, etc. Further, Yacht Record will create, if needed, an inventory of systems/equipment installed on the yacht.

That information will be uploaded to the secure land based information system and the vessel’s on board system allowing for redundant security.

You will have secure, unlimited world-wide access to your information thru password protected web based interface.

At your direction, the yacht’s current information can be synchronized between the onboard and land based systems.

Ongoing Service:

Yacht Record provides added value on-going maintenance, hosting, communication, and synchronizing services to make your yacht’s information management tasks manageable. Among these continuous services are:

• Accumulate, maintain, and update information service functionality as additional systems are developed.
• Accumulate, maintain, and update the yachts living records library.
• Accumulate, maintain, and update regulatory compliance information.
• Accumulate, maintain, and update popular foreign/domestic customs and immigration cruising regulations.
• Accumulate, maintain, and update major port information for marinas, shipyards, and ship stores.
